Experiential learning allows students to engage in learning that is exploratory and promotes problem solving. Through-out this process "minimal guidance is offered in the form of process-or task-relevant information that is available if learners choose to use it." (Clark, Kirschner, Sweller, 2006, p. 76)
Individual's interpretation of the experience may be misguided.
There is a problem that recollection of experience changes as the learner thinks back and reflects on it. (Reigeluth, and Carr-Chellman (2009, p. 123)
As cited by Zakay et al., (2004, p.151) in Reigeluth and Carr-Chellman (2009, p. 123), "The lessons drawn from the experience may turn out to e irrelevant, invalid, or even misleading."
